The USA's goal of the Cold War was to create a more secure, democratic, and prosperous world for the benefit of the American people and the international community. The US is very influential in the world. The goals of the Cold War were to isolate Communism. The idea was that the US could try to prevent the spread but were not able to invade communists countries. The war was pretty much a fight between capitalism and communism.
It's short and sweet. It gets to the point of the U.S. thinking that Communsim was bad and needed to be contained. You clearly stated the goals and showed how the U.S. went about trying the containment idea. Good job!
